Durga Prasad (DP) Koka

Durga Prasad (DP) Koka serves as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) at The Cigna Group^®. In this role, he leads the company’s Technology and Operations organization, overseeing global infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, and operational platforms. He also directs enterprise operational effectiveness, ensuring resilient, secure, and seamless engagement across customer, client, and provider service operations.

Koka joined The Cigna Group in 2021 as Enterprise Chief Architect and Senior Vice President of Technology, where he played a key role in modernizing and simplifying the company’s technology landscape. Prior to that, he served as Chief Architect at Hilton Worldwide, where he led a multi-year digital transformation, including the migration to a cloud-enabled platform and the overhaul of Hilton’s central reservation engine, CRM, and loyalty systems. He also held a leadership role at Isys Technologies, a fast-paced start-up delivering software-as-a-service solutions. Koka began his career as a Research Engineer at the National Center for Physical Acoustics at the University of Mississippi.

An innovator and patent holder in direct-to-consumer digital engagement, Koka holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Osmania University in India.
