Nicole Jones serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Human Resources Officer for The Cigna Group®. In this role, she oversees government affairs, marketing and communications, and human resources and services.
Jones has played a central role in advancing the company’s growth strategy, leading cross‑functional public affairs efforts, aligning enterprise priorities, and strengthening our external voice. Her leadership has helped shape public policy, drive talent alignment across enabling functions, and support the company’s long‑term growth and reputation.
A member of the Enterprise Leadership Team since 2011, Jones was named Chief Administrative Officer in 2023, expanding her responsibilities to include communications, public affairs, and human resources – in addition to legal, regulatory, enterprise risk, and compliance. She assumed responsibility for marketing in 2025.
Jones rejoined The Cigna Group in 2006 after serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Lincoln Financial. During her time at The Cigna Group, she has held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Legal Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Counsel for Domestic Health Services, Securities, and Investment Law. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in corporate law departments at Johnson & Johnson, MCI, Inc., and International Paper Company.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a JD from New York University.
