Inclusive supply chain enhances our corporate relationships and contributes to our ability to better understand and serve our broad spectrum of customers.
The Cigna GroupSM believes the success of Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs) adds to our success and to that of the communities we serve. CBEs refer to small businesses and businesses owned by women, veterans, LGBTQ+ community members, minorities, and people with disabilities. By partnering with these suppliers, we can foster the growth of these businesses while ensuring the long-term growth of The Cigna Group. Our inclusive supply chain program is designed to engage suppliers who share our commitment to integrity, quality, and efficiency and continue to support our purchasing needs.
To be considered as a supplier, register through the Inclusive Supply Chain Portal. For more information on the program, contact us.
Our Inclusive Supply Chain program recognizes the following Certified Business Enterprises:
The Cigna Group accepts certifications from National, Regional, and State/Municipality certifying councils.
The Cigna Group launched its Cigna Supplier Mentor Protégé Program (CSMPP) in 2016.
Certified Business Enterprises (protégés) are paired with executives at The Cigna Group to help develop strategies to strengthen and expand their businesses.
Throughout the 15 months, protégés have one-on-one monthly meetings with their dedicated mentor, and once each quarter, protégés attend onsite forums to learn about industry best practices from subject matter experts.
The Cigna Group is very proud of the program and is committed to the goal of helping protégé companies grow their businesses so they can continue to contribute to their local communities.
