Eric Palmer

Eric Palmer is Executive Vice President for Enterprise Strategy for The Cigna Group^SM and President and Chief Executive Officer for Evernorth Health Services^®, the pharmacy, care, and benefits solutions division of The Cigna Group. He is a member of the Enterprise Leadership Team of The Cigna Group.

Prior to this role, Eric served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Evernorth Health Services, overseeing core strategy and capabilities in pharmacy, care management, and benefit management services. Previously, he also served as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the financial operations and functions of The Cigna Group, as well as for the organization’s Investment Management, Corporate Development and Underwriting units. Eric’s leadership during this time was critical to the successful combination of Cigna and Express Scripts^®, as well as the launch of Evernorth Health Services.

Since joining the company in 1998, he has held leadership positions in the U.S. Employer and International Health businesses for Cigna Healthcare^SM, as well as the company’s Medicare Advantage business and group life and disability insurance business.
